Overview

Nederlands Dans Theater ranks among the world's most prominent and innovative contemporary dance companies, performing a challenging and virtually unrivaled repertoire of modern masterworks. NDT returns to Berkeley with former Artistic Director Jirí Kylián's acclaimed Whereabouts Unknown and innovative and inspired NDT resident choreographers Paul Lightfoot and Sol León's Silent Screen, set to the abstract and yet profoundly emotional music of Philip Glass.

Program: Kylián: Whereabouts Unknown, set to music by Michael de Roo, Arvo Pärt, Anton Webern, Steve Reich, and Charles Ives · Paul Lightfoot/Sol León: Silent Screen, set to excerpts from Philip Glass's Glassworks and soundtrack from The Hours.
