Overview

In a program featuring works of Chopin and Debussy alongside the music of modern masters Carl Vine and Lowell Liebermann, Joyce Yang displays the flare, virtuosity, and insight that have made her one of the most sought-after pianists of her generation. Only 23 years old, this Van Cliburn International Competition prize winner is poised for a major international career. Her Cal Performances recital debut is an opportunity to engage with an artist acclaimed the world over for the insight and sensitivity of her performances.
