Sarah Silverman, April 11, 2011

Overview

"The most outrageously funny woman alive" (Rolling Stone) comes to Zellerbach Hall for one night only! Comedian, actress, and writer Sarah Silverman's audacious point of view has not only won her a devoted following for her work in films, television and online, but major awards recognition as well, including a Primetime Emmy and a Best Actress Webby for her iconic online video "The Great Schlep." Silverman's "aggressively silly, button-pushing comedy style" (New York Times) has led to hosting gigs at the MTV Movie and Independent Spirit Awards shows and cemented her reputation for uproarious and provocative live performances in which no subject is sacred. Demonstrating her versatility in this special appearance, Silverman both performs her trademark stand-up comedy and plays a little guitar. Special guest Chelsea Peretti, named one of the top 10 comics to watch by Variety and currently writing for the hit NBC show Parks and Recreation, opens the show.

Due to mature subject matter and language, we recommend this performance for mature audiences only.
