Overview
Fantasy in C major, D. 760 (Wanderer Fantasy)
Macedonian pianist Simon Trpčeski has established himself as one of the most remarkable young musicians to have emerged in recent years. Possessed of dazzling technique, he can also be powerfully moving in lyrical moments. His powerhouse program features Liszt's virtuosic Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 and Schubert's epic Wanderer Fantasy, the composer's most technically demanding composition for the instrument. "This is subtle, clever, imaginative pianism of the very highest quality" (The Independent, London).
