Serving the Berkeley arts community for seven years with a menu of tasty seasonal, local, and responsibly sourced foods, downtown bar & restaurant brings their love of food and the arts together at downtown café at Cal Performances right on the mezzanine level of Zellerbach Hall!

Visit the downtown café at Cal Performances before performances and enjoy a delicious salad, sandwich or entree, a glass of wine or soda, and dessert before the performance. And the downtown café expanded its pre-performance dining options to include hot entrée style dishes and desserts. Plus, you will enjoy the view of UC Berkeley's famous campanile from their elegant mezzanine table at our new café!

Please note that seating for dining is available on a first-come, first-served basis and the downtown café recommends that you arrive early so as to have plenty of time to enjoy your meal prior to the performance.
