"The most haunting, heroic and delightful night of theater [of the] year," said Steven Winn. The innovative, award-winning director returns with his latest production La Casa Azul, a work based on the life of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Starring author and actress Sophie Faucher in the lead role, Lise Roy as Kahlo's mythical alter-ego La Llorona, and Patric Saucier as larger-than-life muralist Diego Rivera, La Casa Azul traces the volcanic lust for life and art of the 20th century artistic icon.
