"This much talent, polish, and virtuosity in a teenager may not even be legal," raves the New York Observer of pop-jazz wunderkind Peter Cincotti, who has created a hurricane-like stir in the music world since he first started performing in New York just a few years ago. The 2003 release of his first album, a remarkably mature collection of jazz standards and self-composed songs evocative of jazz's great singer/pianists, shot to the top of the Billboard traditional jazz chart and received universal raves from the critics. Drawing comparisons to the suave vocal grace and polished style of Harry Connick, Jr., and the soaring fame and cross-generational appeal of Norah Jones, singer/pianist/composer/arranger Cincotti is the youngest performer to open at the Oak Room in New York City's legendary Algonquin Hotel and recently made his American Songbook debut at Alice Tully Hall.
