Seven-time Grammy Award winner and living legend Eddie Palmieri hits the Zellerbach stage with his scintillating septet. Drawing on the influence of Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner, and Eddie's own brother Charlie, the Harlem-born pianist is an inspiration to all by constantly challenging the perceived boundaries of Latin jazz music. Palmieri's concert celebrates more than 50 years in the business. He is joined by renowned Puerto Rican saxophonist David Sanchez.
