Seven-time all-Ireland fiddle champion, star of the original Riverdance, and best-selling recording artist Eileen Ivers has been called the Jimi Hendrix of the violin. Ivers and her brilliantly versatile ensemble Immigrant Soul "rock the house everywhere they play" (The Boston Globe) with programs that showcase not only their unique Irish-fusion sound, but also a wide variety of musical styles from around the world. Ivers and her ensemble are joined by Turkish multi-instrumentalist Burhan Öçal, widely regarded as the greatest darbuka (finger drum) player alive today.
