When you grow up with a folk music iconWoody Guthrieas your father, some of the magic just can't help but rub off. So it was with Arlo Guthrie, whose career exploded with the release of "Alice's Restaurant"a cultural touchstone of the 1960s antiwar movement. Over the last four decades, Guthrie has toured the world, winning a wide following for both his musicianship and natural storytelling skills. He is joined in this celebration of the 40th anniversary of his epic saga, "The Alice's Restaurant Massacree," and the subsequent social consciousness and activism it inspired by opening act The Mammals, his son Abe on keyboards, and Gordon Titcomb on mandolin and banjo.
