A fearless musical personality, violinist Gidon Kremer has established a worldwide reputation as one of the most original artists of his generation. But when asked about his success, Kremer always credits the repertoire first; time and time again, he has demonstrated astonishing innovation with programs featuring unusual musicoften transcriptions of known works performed in an unconventional mannerand seemingly incongruous pairings of composers. Kremer is joined for this adventurous program by longtime collaborator and Grammy-Award-winning percussionist Andrei Pushkarev, and Grammy-nominated recording partner, Andrius Zlabys.
Program: After Bach: J.S.
