Nuccia Focile has captured the attention of the music world with her impeccable performances, both in recital and on the opera stage. An eminent Italian soprano with a repertoire ranging from Mozart's heroines to Verdi and Puccini as well as bel canto, she has appeared at many of the world's leading opera houses, including Teatro alla Scala, La Fenice, and Teatro Liceo in Barcelona, and recently won rave reviews as Elisabeth in Welsh National Opera's new production of Don Carlos.
