British theater director Declan Donnellan has taken the world by storm with his multi-Olivier Award-winning productions and with designer Nick Ormerod, is cofounder of the United Kingdom's celebrated Cheek by Jowl company. Here they serve up classic Shakespeare with an icy-cold shot of vodka. Their remarkable all-male Russian cast—featuring Alexander Feklistov and Igor Yasulovich, superstars of Russian stage, television, and cinema—weave together tales of mistaken identity, separated twins, and gender-crossing disguises in one of the most physical, hilarious, and powerful productions of Twelfth Night ever. In this superb presentation—a hit with international audiences—Donnellan's crisp direction and the company's resonant Russian acting style prove an irresistible combination. "Surmounts any Shakespeare I have seen in the past 10 years. This Twelfth Night is a dazzling experience" (Sunday Independent, Australia).

Performed in Russian with English supertitles
