Krystian Zimerman, piano

For more than 30 years, Polish pianist Krystian Zimerman's artistic activity has been marked by regular appearances before his own dedicated audiences, demanding and discerning music lovers who passionately look forward to each concert. "He masters everything," says the Los Angeles Times of the artist's "exquisite, eloquent, distinctive, witty, probing, shrewd, utterly satisfying, jaw-droppingly virtuosic playing." A true musical phenomenon, Zimerman has worked in the great music centers of Europe, Asia, and America with many of the most legendary artists of our time, including Rubinstein, Bernstein, Giulini, and Karajan, all of whom influenced his stellar career.
