Since 1985, the Grammy Award-winning musicians of Concerto Köln have specialized in the music of the 18th and early 19th centuries, winning legions of fans throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Israel. When the group received the prestigious German Critic's Award, its style was widely acclaimed as nonconformist and provocative, full of sentiment, and, above all, delightfully spontaneous. Today, Concerto Köln plays "with inspiration and precision" (Jerusalem Post) and is considered one of the highest-ranking orchestras in the field of early music and historical performances. The program will feature Bach's immortal Brandenburg Concertos Nos. 4 and 5.
Program: Bach and the Concerto di Camera in Italy and France, featuring works by J.S. Bach, Sammartini, Vivaldi, and Dauvergne
